One of my favorite icons is the “Pillsbury Doughboy”. As he stands innocently in a tray of dough, a cat with nefarious intentions licks its lips.
The series was inspired by then President George W. Bush, who decided to “fix” social security. This prospect was blood chilling and luckily for all of us, he never had the opportunity to do so.
Hence the title “Toys in Peril”.
